The island is very small with 30 rooms. It is very calm and super relaxing! We booked a water villa and it was simply amazing to wake up everyday and see the ocean. Our villa was on the ocean side which is better since you have more privacy. The other side is Laguna and it faces on the beach where are located the beach villas indeed. All the staff is great especially Hari from the bar. Special thanks to Andrea from Turisanda who is the resident Italian staff for any support. During our stay I took the Open water diver license through the Dive Corporation which is situated in the island. My diver master instructor Dude is amazing and he really makes you confident and teaches you everything. Lovely experience we want to come back!

We had an amazing week at Drift Retreat and can totally recommend it to everyone! This little island is absolutely beautiful, the perfect place to relax and disconnect from everyday life. Sleeping in a water villa was such a special experience. The house reef is stunning — we swam with sharks, a spotted eagle ray, and even a turtle. There are so many colorful little fish, and we spotted at least 10 Nemos! The Dive Crop Drift Retreat dive center is also highly recommended – such a great, helpful team. A special thanks to Monir, who looked after us the whole time with such kindness and friendliness. And thanks as well to the amazing chef, who made sure we had delicious food every morning and evening. Hopefully, we’ll be back! Bóra & Tamás

Another absolutely fantastic trip to Drift. Pure relaxation Every member of staff are always smiling, eager to help and great fun. We stayed for three weeks on this paradise Island for a true Maldivian experience and cannot wait to return next year hopefully. As always Angel Fish organised everything to perfection arranging the perfect stay. Maria and all the staff made us feel totally at home again and we cannot thank you all enough. Ein Stück Paradies... Es war absolut perfekt. Von dem Moment an, als wir ankamen, bis zu dem Moment, als wir abreisten, fühlten wir uns, als würden wir in einem Traum leben. ?Ein besonderes Highlight, das unsere Gaumen erfreute, war das Buffet. Die Vielfalt und Qualit?t der Speisen waren schlichtweg atemberaubend. Jeden Tag gab es eine neue Auswahl an kulinarischen K?stlichkeiten, die von frischem Fisch und exotischen Früchten bis hin zu k?stlichen Currys reichten. Die Speisen waren immer frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich hervorragend. Jede Mahlzeit war ein Erlebnis für sich, und wir konnten es kaum erwarten, zu sehen, was als N?chstes serviert wurde. ?Was diesen Ort jedoch wirklich zu etwas Besonderem macht, sind die Mitarbeiter. Ihr Engagement und ihre Herzlichkeit sind unvergleichlich. Jeder einzelne Mitarbeiter, vom Reinigungspersonal bis zum Restaurantmanager, war unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam. ?Das Resort selbst ist ein wahrgewordener Traum. Die atemberaubende Natur, die kristallklare Lagune und der unberührte Sandstrand schaffen eine unvergleichliche Atmosph?re der Ruhe und Entspannung. Die Wasserbungalows sind wundersch?n eingerichtet und bieten einen spektakul?ren Blick auf den Ozean. ?Ich kann das Drift Thelu Veliga Retreat uneingeschr?nkt empfehlen. Wer nach einem Ort sucht, um sich zu entspannen, kulinarisch verw?hnen zu lassen und herzliche Gastfreundschaft zu erleben, ist hier genau richtig. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen!

If you want a Maldives experience where the emphasis is on simple, small island, great reef and diving with a great restaurant, then Drift could be the place. This is not where you go for live bands, large restaurants with endless choices or loads of live entertainment. The perfect bit of quiet paradise for snorkellers and divers. And don't book with anyone other than Angelfish Travel, who know the whole of The Maldives better than anyone, and all from the team's personal experience.

Rund um ein gro?artiger Urlaub auf einer sehr kleinen und feinen Insel. Unsere 12. Insel auf dem Malediven und unsere klare Nummer 1!! Einzigartige Tauchg?nge mit Adam (bin als Taucher gekommen und als Freund schweren Herzens abgereist).

Nos alojamos allí durante una semana para finalizar nuestra luna de miel y puedo decir que es el sitio más espectacular en el que me he alojado y he tenido la suerte de viajar por todo el mundo. Es una isla muy peque?ita con mucho encanto. Nosotros nos alojamos en una watervilla y el color del mar es de ensue?o, la arena, el persona siempre atento para que estes a gusto. Un sitio de 10 en Maldivas. Estuve hace 14 a?os en otra isla y mi percepción de Maldivas ha cambiado por completo, pienso volver a este resort.

Il paradiso. Non credo ci siano parole migliori per descrivere questo resort e come ci ha fatto sentire trascorrere una settimana qua. Isola bellissima, così piccola che si gira in 3 minuti, con più accessi alla barriera corallina (la barriera circonda l’isola senza necessità di spostarsi con la barca). Camera beach villa bella e ben arredata, con macchinetta nespresso e capsule gratuite, la pulizia della camera viene effettuata due volte al giorno, stessa cosa per i luoghi comuni, e’ tutto estremamente pulito. Tutto il personale è gentile e fa di tutto per accontentare le richieste, una menzione particolare a Monir ed Haj che con la loro simpatica ci hanno sempre strappato un sorriso. Cucina internazionale ottima, abbiamo mangiato pesce tutti i giorni, frutta esotica ed ottimi dolci, forse non adatta agli italiani che vogliono mangiare solo pasta e pizza. Nella settimana in cui abbiamo soggiornato non c’erano altri italiani, la maggior parte erano inglesi ed asiatici che hanno abitudini diverse e che si vedevano ben poco in giro, sembrava di avere l’intera isola per noi due. Abbiamo usufruito della spa per un massaggio, molto rilassante e con vista mare. Siamo sub e prima di prenotare eravamo in dubbio perché parecchie recensioni sconsigliavano ai divers il resort per via del diving che non faceva uscite, abbiamo allora scritto direttamente al diving che ci ha prontamente risposto, la gestione è nuova a fanno sempre uscite, con loro ci siamo immersi tutti i giorni ed hanno esaudito ogni nostra richiesta, come immergerci con le mante e lo squalo balena. Davvero una splendida esperienza sotto ogni punto di vista, il resort migliore che abbiamo visitato alle Maldive, ci rimarrà nel cuore.

What an absolute jewel of an island! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by a professional and incredibly friendly team who made us feel right at home. The warmth and hospitality of everyone here truly made our experience special. The dive centre deserves a special mention – it’s exceptionally well-run and staffed by a remarkable team of divers, all led by the fantastic Dude! Every dive was an adventure, and their knowledge, safety, and passion for the ocean made each outing unforgettable. This is more than just a beautiful location – it’s a place full of heart and soul, made magical by the people who call it home. We’ve are already planning our return for next year.

L'isola è piccola e magnifica proprio per questo. Chi vuole i negozi, l'animazione, la movida deve andarsene da un'altra parte. I ragazzi dello staff gentilissimi e sempre sorridenti, il cibo è buono e vario, considerato che tutto quello che arriva alle Maldive è importato. Quindi un minimo ci si deve adattare. La beach villa è grande, comoda, immersa nella natura con bagno all'aperto, niente a che vedere con i bungalow che sono tutti attaccati e che prevedono una lunga passerella di legno per arrivare al ristorante, ma sono gusti. La beach ha l'accesso alla spiaggia in 20 secondi, con ombrellone e lettini privati. La camera viene pulita 2 volte al giorno, ti lasciano sempre 2 bottiglie d'acqua ogni giorno, di mattina e di sera. L'all inclusive prevede alcune bevande dal minibar e bevande varie dal bar, compresi snack salati e dolci. L'isola ha un reef ricco e vicino, l'ingresso è diretto dalla spiaggia, sopratutto la zona del pontile è un acquario, con squali di barriera, mante, una tartaruga, e tantissimi pesci. Nella zona ristorante ci sono alcuni sacchi con sabbia per evitare l'erosione. Ho letto alcune recensioni di persone che nemmeno avevano capito cosa fossero...(mah). Qualche volta alcuni pezzi si staccano e ho notato che la gente che fa il bagno se nota queste cose non le raccoglie. Il mare è di tutti!!! Raccogliete, è nostro dovere mantenerlo pulito.
